Karate & kickboxing club receives grant from Margam Green Energy

The Port Talbot Karate & Kickboxing Club is the latest sports club to benefit from the Margam Green Energy Community Fund.  The Club, based at Warehouse Fitness in Port Talbot, has received a grant of £2950 from the Fund to purchase a foldable boxing ring.

Numerous adult champions – at national, British, European and World levels – started their sporting careers or still train at the Club and it caters for all levels and ages; the Club welcomes boys and girls from aged 4 upwards.

The Community Fund is provided by Schroders Greencoat, the owners of Margam Green Energy and is administered by Neath Port Talbot Council.  The fund supports projects (to a maximum of £6,000) within the Taibach & Margam ward of Neath Port Talbot Council.  For more information about the Fund and how to apply, please contact Paul Hinder, Project Development and Funding Manager at NPT Council : p.hinder@npt.gov.uk
